“Promotional Use Only,” as the title suggests, is a promo EP that marks Team Chino’s debut on Sunday Drive Records. Originally formed in Tulsa, OK in 2018 by songwriter Hunter Senft (Downward), Team Chino self-released their first LP, followed by a few sporadic singles. In 2024, the band now has a full lineup, with Jacob Scott and Luis Quiroz joining Hunter in writing and performing shows.

The two tracks, ‘Nerves’ and ‘Beg,’ pair perfectly, showcasing Team Chino’s natural strength in writing extremely catchy alternative rock with punk leanings. Team Chino creates big, power-pop riffs reminiscent of bands like Green Day, Weezer, or Everclear, topped with a catchy hook that drives the song. The tracks are short and sweet, hinting at the direction Team Chino is heading in for their next release.
