Tiger Flowers "Dead Hymns"

Format
Brash, chaotic, start/stop "Hometown heroes" of the New York scene (in the words of MetalSucks), TIGER FLOWERS, have released their debut LP. "Dead Hymns" is chock-full of unfiltered realness and showcases their brand of metallic hardcore, uniting unhinged aggression, bottomless melancholia, and swaggering rock n' roll.

As disjointed and chaotic as it is melodic and meticulous, "Dead Hymns" has quickly become a staple in 90s "math"-inspired hardcore of yore, satiating appetites for pioneers of the genre like Botch, Deadguy, and more recently, Dillinger Escape Plan. As a recent Tiger Flowers review on Invisible Oranges puts it, "Coalesce are their most obvious reference point, but that comparison doesn't tell the whole story."

Tiger Flowers' debut full-length, "Dead Hymns", was produced by Elliot Geller (Malignancy, Dim Mak) and mastered by Shane Frisby (Turmoil, Revocation).
