Hailing from Southern California, Duhkha’s members have cut their teeth in the hardcore and metal scenes of California over the past two decades, including time in Eighteen Visions, Seizures, Teeth, and Dangers. Shortly after forming in 2020, they released a self-titled 7" in 2021 on Escapist Records. Duhkha spent much of 2021 and 2022 playing shows with the likes of Stick To Your Guns, Eighteen Visions, END, Pressure Cracks, Heiress and more before taking 2023 to write their debut full length. A Place You Can’t Come Back From was recorded, mixed and mastered by the band’s own Erol Ulug in his studio Bright Lights in Santa Ana, CA and will be released in 2024 on Good Fight Music. Duhkha has constructed 11 compositions of chaotic and aggressive metallic hardcore for fans of Coalesce, Deadguy, Botch, and Meshuggah. The songs borrow from the various golden ages of metallic hardcore, djent, math, and death metal, combining all to create something novel, fresh, and extremely well-crafted.
