Rend features members of Villain, senzu, and Crime & Punishment. The band delivers a collective of sounds that blends together to formulate their first demo, "First Contact." It melds an airy and clean sound, that still delivers an emotional hardcore vibe. The demo was recorded with Caleb Gowett (Suffer On Acid, Bear Trap, etc)
