Foreign Body play raw, hideous, and vulgar music. Emblematic of the seedy underbelly of yesterday’s New York City– where sex workers walked the streets freely, rubble and decay were prevalent, drugs were readily available and every businessman’s briefcase contained a loaded gun, the quartet spin Musou black yarns that polite society would rather have swept under the rug, soundtracking them with jaw-clenching and furious mid-tempo punk exploding with fresh ideas. And even though Foreign Body drips with a loathsome mix of hatred for modern living and a desire for its immolation, they’re also one of music’s most promising faces.

Libertine is wholly relentless album with unflinching portrayals of vice, perversions and glorified excesses. Their sophomore full-length was recorded by Matt Russell (REZN, Oozing Wound) and produced by Matt Ibarra of Rectal Hygienics.
