Formed in 2017 in Texas’ Rio Grande Valley, Glare aren’t so much genre traditionalists as they are painters of vast realms and intense moods. Like the Texan landscape where they forged their sound, Glare's expansive shoegaze soundscapes evoke the feeling of looking over a desert vista that seems to stretch back to the beginning of time. Among the shoegaze revivalists, Glare come to their canvas with a resourceful, DIY perspective and imbue it with a sublime hugeness that dissolves the borders between bliss and despair. 

Their debut LP, 'Sunset Funeral', documents unspeakable grief, charting the process of mourning and how it permeates our subconscious and dreams. While performing on Audiotree Live, we get a taste of Glare's dedication to their craft and bear witness to their heavily crushed textures, sweetly chugging guitar lines, and meaty drums.
