Thrice's -Beggars

This album is incredible. I never used to like this band one bit, but this is nothing like what I had previously heard from them. Eddie Breckenridge's bass tone is so awesome.

I'm so glad to see this thread!
Beggars is my favorite album by thrice. There is this vulnerability that runs throughout the album that previous albums haven't had. (at least to this extent)
Dustin's lyrics, and melodies without a doubt reached a whole another level. With songs like The Weight, and Talking Through Glass I feel the passion and the raw honesty in his voice. The songs, instrument wise, are stripped down a bit from previous records. It lets their writing arrangements really breath and hit their potential where as on previous records have a dense feel them.
I know Thrice gets mixed reviews especially in the aggressive music community, but I can't give enough praise about them.
They are definitely a genuine band, have a very special place in my heart.

ps. sorry for rambling I was just stoked to share my appreciation.
