Dan started training and fighting at the age of six in Taekwondo and has been training and competing since. After watching some of the early UFC's, he started his Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training to support his strong stand up skills. In June 2004 Dan made his Professional MMA debut. Since then he has been one of the most active fighters from the UK, establishing himself as one of the top welterweights from the country. He currently is the Light Welterweight Champion of the UK based Cage Warriors Organization.
Most recently, Dan fought in the Cage Force tournament in Japan, destroying current welterweight "King of Pancrase" Daizo Ishige and Hidetaka Monma to reach the finals. Just a week later, he stopped Manuel Garcia at a Cage Warriors event in London England.
The future looks incredibly bright for "The Outlaw" as he sets his sights on the larger organizations in North America, hoping to debut stateside in 2K8.
