After a string of regional victories in the New England area, "Team Aggression" member Joe Lauzon defeated legend Jens "Lil' Evil" Pulver by KO @ UFC 63. The then 23-year-old Lauzon entered the lightweights-only season of The Ultimate Fighter as an early favorite. Though he looked impressive throughout the show's season, he lost to eventual runner-up Manny Gamburyan in the show's semi-finals. He returned at the show's live finale and defeated Brandon Melendez with a second-round submission via triangle choke. Since the show, Joe has fought a number of high profile fights in the UFC organization, and continues to climb up the ladder in their impressive Lightweight division.
