Nine are one of Sweden's greatest metal/hardcore exports. In the last few years Nine have released two infectious albums on Sweden's legendary Burning Heart record label (Turbonegro, Refused). Both albums were quickly met with rave reviews from listeners and critics alike. Propelling the band to new heights of praise and popularity within the European aggressive music scene.
After Scandanavian touring with the likes of The Haunted and Nasum, Nine made major noise when they hit the road of Europe with The Hope Conspiracy, and later Converge. On these tours their immense live power was truly undeniable. Nine roared through unsuspecting crowds like a runaway freight train, bringing new life to the unforgettable "Swedish" sound.
Nine "Killing Angels" CD was released on Deathwish in 2004.
Produced by Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah), "Killing Angels" is one of the most powerful albums recorded in recent memory. A moving mix of ten ton heaviness, infectious melody, and full blown vocal ferocity. Paying homage in influence to the old Swedish death n' roll masters Entombed (LG Petrov of Entombed even guests on the album) while evolving into a new breed of musical killing machine.
Since the release of "Killing Angels", Nine has remained active, releasing material on Combat Rock and Threeman Recordings.
